A small New Year gathering of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC) alumni was held today at Paya Serai PJ Hilton.

It was a wonderful afternoon. Couldnt put some of the names with the faces but slowly it came and flashes of good ole Carbondale came running through my head. Been a while not seeing Kamila and Sakina and Darwish. It was really good. Also got to meet the not so newly weds, Lizana and Azmil. May they live happily ever after. Awang, Acheh, Along, Bad, Sheery, Rusty, Zahrul, Kak Pah, Puteri dan ramai lagi tadi. Hopefully we will be able to meet up again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts (me and Mat Nal) to the host Mr Ramli Ashaari, Fadzil and Cik mah the ever so fantastic organisers and of cos to those that came. Sorry had to leave early but will be thinking of the ones we didnt get to meet later in the afternoon. Go Saluki!!
